Old Rose

This old-fashioned floribunda has been in my garden longer than anyone around here can remember. When I came it had been overgrown by trees and it was very spindly. I moved it out to a sunny place and the rewards have been spectacular. The rose is at its best when there is a nor'west arch. The late sun slants in at a low angle under the dark blue-grey clouds. Then red flowers glow like neon lights.

Looks good in large.
