Holiday #5 Baaaa....

Every day when I open the curtains every morning I can see sheep kept in a field in front of the house :) What a lovely sight!

I resisted the temptation to put them in Mono for MonoMonday : Food (sorry)!

A gloriously sunny day after all the rain yesterday, but feeling somewhat cooler!

More reading, writing, photography and chatting with intervals for tea, biscuits, cake etc. I also walked down to the village again and took some photos inside the church (having gained permission yesterday). Such a pretty place. I will be putting pictures on flickr eventually...

This week I have been playing Scrabble with a few people I've met! I have been very surprised to win as I don't normally manage with the one friend I play with who is very good. I won on Friday, drew on Saturday and Sunday. Tonight I won very unexpectedly after a very close game (I beat someone who was far superior than me at the game, and didn't expect to (neither did he expect it)) :) The board...for those interested ~ Scrabble Game I won! He put 'imputed' and gained two double word scores plus using all 7 letters so gained 50 points additional to his score. I would not have won if it hadn't been for spotting that I could enter 'quin' with 'q' on a triple word score :)

A surprise this evening! A phone call from a friend to tell me she would be visiting tomorrow and staying overnight :)
