which Rich tells me can include Bass, Salmon and Mackerel.
The vessel comes with echo sounder which can be seen just
below his right hand and ensures, so far as technology can
guarantee such things, that his baited hook drops straight into
an eager mouth waiting directly below. Meanwhile his personal
comfort is assured in a dry suit. Naturally the craft is not without
its unstable occasions and he did recall the indignity of having
to be winched out of the sea or lying on his back in the briny
whilst towing it back to shore! He seemed intensely happy in
his pursuit and one had to wonder whether it was sport or
therapy. A curious mixture of the two I suspect.
