I left the Parliament building about 7.30 tonight but the Garden Lobby had already been transformed into the lounge and meeting space for the annual "Festival of Politics" which takes place over the weekend.

It is an enjoyable event and last year some of my photographs were part of the Festival exhibition.

However I suspect that Scottish politicians will not be much in evidence this year. All of us will be out in our own areas campaigning in the independence referendum which takes place a mere 5 weeks from today.
