A Visiting Cat

Jasper, our adorable cat, left us in 2010 after nearly two decades in which he brought lots of joy and happiness. Since then we've had several visiting cats ready to take advantage of our 'cat free' garden to prowl, hunt and spray! The one in this photo is a lovely looking male (probably not neutered judging by his temperament and habits). Whilst becoming a little more at ease with us, he still keeps his distance. He's a hunter for sure, we have had the evidence to prove it, but lying here in the morning sun he looks the picture of calm domesticity - belying the killer lurking inside!
