Days Out.

A little while ago I won a ticket to Bicton Gardens near Budleigh Salterton & we went today. Despite the heavens opening just after we arrived it was very interesting & enjoyable. Beautiful, peaceful gardens & fascinating tropical greenhouses. Also a great countryside museum. Think R would have spent all his time in there!

We also went to Otterton Mill, also interesting as the mill was working. The heavens opened as we arrived there too. Bought some flour for bread making. Many years ago I knew the lady who rescued it from dereliction in the 1970s.
