Ever decreasing circles

An early morning trip to Ikea (to get the drawers that were out of stock last week) and the majority of their school clothes and shoes. No trouble with the 10 year old; she picked shoes, saw trousers and skirts and pointed to blouses and said "yep, I like them". The 8 year old was a different matter; didn't like any shoes, moaned the skirts were too long, the blouses weren't pretty enough and the cardigans were too thin. If this is a glimpse into her future self, we're in trouble!

One of the neighbours popped over today to give the girls some sweets and loom bands to say thank you for giving her daughter some of their toys. Didn't take them long to munch their way through the sweets.

The girls sorted out their holiday clothes andI helped them pack. The trouble with packing on a cold day means we packed a few extra long sleeved tops and jeans. Oh well, there's a washing machine there so I can clean the shorts and t-shirts if I need to. Now to pack my stuff.
