Happy campers

It rained all night & pretty much all day. There was an 'orange' alert all over France.

We made a dash to Sancerre for morning coffee & played pool at the Rampert hotel (a pole dancing joint by night). Lunch was in Cosnes, where they served me a passable black pudding. And then Claire, Richard, Helen & I traipsed round some Pouilly vineyards. We bought a six-pack, but they're too posh to do bag-in-box.

It was dry by 5 and the campsite did a BBQ, which went on for hours. Overnight, for a change, it rained.
