Back to the Gilded Balloon (again)
It's been another busy day of work, Fringe shows, looking after guests, and finding a way to fit in exercise.
I worked on campus until mid-afternoon, then walked into town for a work-related Fringe event on women in science and technology. After a post-show drink with the star performer, I popped home to do a bit more work. Then it was back up to town again to meet our guests for dinner at Contini Ristorante on George Street.
I blipped the show list at the Gilded Balloon as we waited in the queue for the 22:30 performance of Showstopper.
Oh, and the good news is that our three teenage visitors from earlier in the month learnt their A level results today. They clocked up 5 grade As and 4 A*s between them and are now very excited about heading off to university (Newcastle, York, and Leeds) in the autumn.
Exercise today: walked to work, worked from work to St Andrew Square, walked to Contini Ristorante (approx 2.5 hours total).
