Monsoon Monday

Wow did we get rain today, almost all day long. It came down really hard for a while and after it was done there was lots of flooding. Some poor folks had 3 feet of water or more in their basements!! Freeways flooded, streets flooded, houses flooded. A sad and frustrating day for many in the metro Detroit area. We were lucky at our house. I had to mop up a little water but that was all.

I took this on my drive home on a very wet Woodward Avenue that would normally be filling with classic cars in anticipation if this weekend's Dream Cruise.
