Memories of my teaching days!
Every time I see a barn owl I remember the story of Plop, the baby barn owl who was afraid of the dark. It's a lovely story I used to read to my class of 7/8 year olds. There are a number of repetitive phrases in the story and every time we came to the one where Plop fell off his branch the children joined in.
