What is the angel saying?

Continuing my holiday back-blips: This is a detail from a window in an ancient Benedictine monastery in Limoges. (We drove from Calais to Limoges and overnighted there to break our journey.)

I'm sure there must be a story behind this scene and what the angel is saying, but so far I can't decide between
"You're not the messiah, you're a very naughty monk!"
and
"Yes, you've a lost a filling in your upper right molar."
