more festival jollyness and pie eating. kids were up at 6.30 - so we got our revenge on the 2am guitar playing folkie of the night before. managed to brew tea on the camping stove before retreating in to the school (where the festival is held) for cooked breakfast.
felt groovy with a family drum workshop followed by pancakes and pies.
the highlight for me was the spooky men who are an australian men's choir who sing songs like 'don't stand between a man and his tool' and 'dancing queen' in unaccompanied harmony singing. totally brilliant. i saw them in oz in march - singing in the bar at a festival and was v excited to see they were on at brampton.
me and carpetbiter2 are now official spookymen fans - we got our cd signed and had more pies with the spookmeister before he headed off to the next gig.
by now we were completely institutionalised to festival life and felt like we'd been there for ever
