Isabel ( my girl ) and Nancy ( her friend ) made this fantastic cake for Pirate Matt ( my girls boy), it was his birthday yesterday but tonight is his party. We call him Pirate Matt because when they first met , he had just returned from Barbados, where he had been filming a Pirates of the Caribbean type thing. He is an actorrrr. Recently he did a tour playing Macbeth, for that duration we called him Mattbeth, ooh we are funny.

I made 4 custom cushions today, some with rude words, I like making those, though I wouldn't have one on my sofa.

Last night I asked André what he would like to eat tonight, as he was eating his dinner of mini Shreddies in a bowl ( when he works late all he wants when he gets home is cereal). He said he wanted shepherds pie and peas even if the weather was hot. I bought him an old fashioned blue and white enamelled pie tin and made him a lovely pie. I was rewarded with a bunch of flowers. Nice one Andrê : )

Tomorrow I am going to make a list of all the things on my summer bucket list that I haven't done so far. I'd better get a wiggle on, the leaves on the trees are beginning to change ....
