A future promise ...

Ah it's Friday. Thank goodness!!

My three happy things today:

1 - Finding a way that Lucky the dog who was hit by a car on the motorway yesterday is getting the surgery he needs to have his broken leg fixed. Two things to bear in mind when getting a big Labrador for your family - get decent insurance and for the love of God don't call him/her Lucky - it's the fastes route to disaster!!!
2 - Removing the most jucy grass seed from Otis' the little terrier's poorly paw - so satisfying!!!
3 - the prospect of visiting my friend Tricia tomorrow to visit the new litter of puppies - can't wait!!

The cats were eager to get their "present" into today's happy 3, but although the startled expression of the little mouse wedged into the sofa crack had some element of comedy the smell really really didn't make me happy :-(
