Open All Hours...

If you do the office 9-5 or there-abouts thing, you might not realise that you spend more waking hours with the people in the office than with those under your own roof so inevitably, friendships can be achieved in such environments.

Meet Duns, or Catherine as she is more commonly referred as. When I first started in my current job almost 10 years ago to the day, Catherine was assigned to buddy me and show me the ins and outs of the work I was employed to do. I remember the first sheet of A4 full of numbers that she gave me to look over. Completely baffling.

Catherine left our work a good couple of years ago to pursue work she was much more interested in a move I'm always impressed with. Instead of complaining about her lot and just putting up with the work she just upped changed tracks completely.

Catherine is one of the rare people I've encountered in life that is always happy, seems to have fun all the time and is wonderful to be around.
