Backyard Dining

I tried very hard to get a hummingbird this evening, but they are almost as hard to capture as a water drop crown. :-) I am grateful that this little goldfinch was so obliging.

As I approach the home stretch before retirement, I am finding each day to be a little more difficult and emotional. A few of my colleagues will be on vacation next week so they came to say good-bye yesterday and today. It is good that I keep a box of tissues in my office. We have needed them. I just have to hold it together and get through the next week. I am keeping my eye on the finish line and what lies beyond.
