Kingfisher

I went down to the little bay here at Roche Harbor, looking for the usual suspects! instead in flew a kingfisher about 40 feet away...lucky me!!! They are such cute birds with their large heads!!

I then headed over to Lime Kiln for whales, but things were very quiet and I didn't stay long! Weather is cool and partially cloudy...nice to relax and lay low:))).

As a side note...Junior (the eaglet) was last seen on August 15th at 9am...we can only surmise that he and his parents are on their trip north!! We left on the same day!!!
