Whitebaiting season

Another drop dead gorgeous day and the whitebaiters are out in force. The Motueka River is very pretty with willows and wattles on the banks. The tide pushes up near the mouth of the river and with it the whitebait or inanga which can be caught during August to November. This was taken from the clip on cycle/walk bridge looking northeast into the sun.
