The Bees

I am reading "The Bees" by Laline Paull. It's going to be a unique read, that's for sure. It is about honey bees, not bumble bees, but that's the way the blip goes, I guess. I heard of this book through another Blipper, Just Be. It took quite awhile before I could get the book from the library, mainly because I wasn't paying attention the first time I requested it and I ended up with The Bees by a UK poet, and got a book of poetry. Not what I wanted at all. So, the request went in again...and finally the other day the book was ready for me to pick up.

I went to the Botanical Garden today and got this image along with a few others. I gotta say, not having my iPhoto working is a real pain in the arse. I am proud of myself for doing as well as I'm doing without it. I am using Picasa and you can see 3 other images on my Flickr photostream. It was a toss up as to which one to feature, but Bill liked this one the best.
