Happy hamster girl

For the past 14 months, I has been wanting to get a hamster. Normally these ideas disappear if you don't mention it for a couple of weeks, but this definitely one hasn't. It had even been named in advance a couple of months back.

Straight after school today we went to the pet store. It was a slightly early birthday present, as the new baby hamsters had only just come in that day.

She chose a wee Russian Dwarf hamster, and the smile in this pic tells just how happy she is to to have Poppy as her pet.

PS: R is just as excited!
