SHADOW STATIONS
A few years ago whilst living in the north east my wife took part in a public art ins relation at the newly refurbished Sunderland Train Station, she and about fifteen others were filmed walking up and down the platform doing what commuters do, read the paper, push the pram, drink coffee, general everyday stuff. Several weeks later the finished product was officially opened & we visited it again this evening whilst waiting for the grandchildren to return from a week on the smoke, Brenda is one of the shadowy figures that move up and down this wall of glass, a moving memorial I suppose, the kids can always point and say " There's my Granny" as they take there own children off to see the glittering lights of the capital city.
This is actually a bit of an emergency blip as the broadband where we're staying has just been changed to another provider and between the four of use we can't get it to work so I'm hoping 3G & my phone will keep up my record of not having to back blip over the past three odd years
