Fitting things in

Being back at work, means there is not much spare time! Cakes are not appearing out of the oven, less clean/ironed clothes to choose from, carpet needs hoovered ....

So today, quite chuffed at managing to fit in work, opticians and a quick cut of the grass in case the rain came (I know the week end is meant to be really wet).

My trip to the opticians was enlightening. Mentioned that my left contact lens was pretty rubbish and that my distance vision was poor compared to my right. Turns out they had been prescribing me a right lens to correct my distance vision, and a left one for my close vision!! Wish I had known that. It would have helped me accept the weirdness of my vision! Anyway, have opted to go back to super duper distance vision, but it will mean I'll probably have to join the gang in getting some reading glasses out to read a menu!! At least I can enlarge the font on my phone!
