NEWLY PLOUGHED

This is a good news story.
Realizing that his gardener was frustrated by the dry hot soil on his small holding, a local inhabitant got together with a group of like minded people and set the man up with a piece of fertile soil right in the heart of the village.
Farming activity in the village and water running in the furrows along the main road is what makes this small karoo town so unique.
I will watch this market garden's development with great interest and share the progress. Look forward to meeting the gardener with a passion for vegetables too.
