Sunset over the Ligurian Alps

Another day off work, but this time all above board since we're off to Italy for a week. Yay!

I left packing my case to the last minute. I had been warned that the max weight limit was 20kg, so uppermost in my mind was what was essential and what wasn't. 'You're not taking that whacking great tripod are you?' You bet. Turned out my case weighed in at 22Kg, but there was no come back.

We arrived at Naples airport at dusk and the coach transfer was in the dark, but as the bus moved along I could make out the black outline of mountains, peaks and slopes close at hand. Seemed a good place to be. By the time we arrived at our hotel it was knocking on midnight and the place was quiet with staff outnumbering guests awake. Nevertheless, those nice people had laid on a chicken and ham salad for us which was most welcome.
