Festival of Britain

This is my copy of a wonderful publication glorifying "well designed British goods in production in the Festival year 1951".

I wish you could see the samples contained on the pages therein, but of course may blib them in the coming days or weeks.

This publication was a bargain at five shillings. The items photographed within might be somewhat dubious but the typography and general design of the journal has a quality that typifies the era.

I hope to be publishing a book about the Festival of Britain to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
