Heather

An early start this morning to beat the tourists up the Brecon Beacons, but sadly the weather was against me. I was planning on doing a longer walk this morning but as I climbed Corndu the cloud was down and didn’t look like it was going to shift anytime soon. Sod’s Law though as I descending Corndu after climbing Penyfan the cloud started to break. It was quite windy up top though, and the forecast was for it to get worse during the day, so I can’t complain too much it was a nice walk and it gave me a chance to capture the stunning beauty of the heather.

The comedian and actor Robin Williams committed to suicide this week, you somehow never think it’s going to happen to anyone in your family, but today that changed. It’s left me in shock, and you find yourself asking the usual questions of why etc. We all have our demons I suppose, and we don’t know how they affect people.
