'Field Fresh'................!

And there's nothing nicer.......!
A gift from one of my neighbours and picked fresh by herself on her brother's farm last night....!
The smell of these sizzling in butter on the pan brings me right back to my childhood........when as a youngster, myself and my Dad used to pick them at dawn in the local fields around us and bring them home to cook on the hotplate of an old range just flat with salt and butter......!
Nowadays I make my mushroom omelette and practically have to hide to eat it as no-one else in this house eats mushrooms!!
