Imperial Hotel - under construction

Got up this morning leaving Sam and C in bed as I had lots of running about to do. Got back at lunch and we all headed up to John Lewis to get C's first sewing machine (birthday pressie from my Mum) before heading out to see Roz and Rich in Sth Queensferry.

We were treated to a lovely lunch and then Roz decided to crack open one of her mega grown-up Lego sets of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo - another brilliant Frank Lloyd Wright building. Sam started building it but after three false starts making mistakes, he was banned and C and I took over.

It's a pretty fun and intensive job - so much so, we decided to leave C behind for the night. We are taking bets on whether or not she finishes it in time for bed - the wee Lego dude on the right is hoping he has a bed for the night!
