Childhood Memories!

An exhausting day spent in Edinburgh with my sister, but tiring in a nice way as we saw many interesting, humorous, artistic and musical artists as we fought our way among the crowds of Fringe Followers. Before meeting our nieces for lunch we went for a quick look round a SMALL part of the Chamber Street Museum. I was thrilled to find this construction toy which I had as a youngster. I loved it and spent many hours following the plans and building my dream houses with the white and red bricks, green windows and red roof. The building frame was tiny metal rods ranging in length from half an inch to about four inches or so. It would certainly not pass safety standards today but I'm glad it did for me.
