Torch under the covers?

When I was younger I remember trying to read books under the covers with a torch (until I was caught and the torch removed!) In the 21st century it seems that a torch is necessary when you want to so some out of hours reading......which is exactly why all electronics are banned from the bedroom! (Yes, I'm a mean mum).
