That's another fine mess ...

Here are Laurel and Hardy on the Royal Mile today, advertising their show, 'Hats Off to Laurel and Hardy'.

As a kid I loved watching Laurel and Hardy, they made me laugh with all their antics about moving pianos etc. and I reckon they got me into my love of silent and black and white films. Also, did you know that Stan Laurel came from Glasgow.

That is what I love about the fringe, there are so many stars here. As well as Laurel and Hardy, Bette Davis, Tommy Cooper and Eric and Ernie, amongst others.

The two shows seen today were an Australian comedian, called John Robertson, seem at the Stand IV and News Revue at the Pleasance, both terrific shows and well worth seeing.
