Back in the Hampshire heathlands

I took Luca to a birthday party this afternoon and managed to get out on the bike while he was happily playing. It was great to be back in the shires heathland commonly know as the New Forest. I was surprised not to see that many bikes out there, lots of cars but not many bikes. Anyhow was a great ride in the National park.

My thought today is this, it felt good to ride one of my familiar rotes of a time past. I missed having the work guys with me but it was also nice to be alone. Sometimes going down memory lane, or in this case lanes can make you smile inside and outside. I felt good.
