Emergency C-sections and pink lemonade

These were the highlights today.

I love assisting with the c-sections. We had an emergency section today and so delivery had to take place within 30 minutes of the decision to go to theatre. That includes consenting the patient, spinal anaesthesia, scrubbing and preparing the patient. Knife to skin and minutes later there was a baby, quite incredible.

After work I enjoyed the new pink lemonade ice cream at Nandos and dinner with my hubby.
