NY ironworks ...

Spent some time wandering around the SoHo district in NY this afternoon. My camera mostly pointing up for all the great architecture, cast iron buildings and fire escapes.

If it looks familiar from the movies, there is a very good reason. I walked past 3 streets blocked off for shooting a movie. No glamorous movie stars lounging around, just truck loads of equipment, lighting and electrical cables ... plus all the security and technicians smoking endless cigarettes and drinking coffee until something actually happens.
