Training day

Today was a day full of trains. Starting out with a trip to San Diego Model Railway Museum (the largest in America), the wee man watched as enthusiasts recreated the famous railroads of the US. He was delighted to find a giant Brio set at the end of the tour - and refused to leave.

When we eventually prised him away, we stumbled upon another, larger model train in the grounds of Balboa Park, before capping the day with a ride aboard the park's Miniature Railroad. The wee man obviously enjoyed the tunnel as it was the first word he muttered after waking up from his afternoon nap. I see a future with Thomas the Tank Engine...

Tomorrow must be our team building day as we're off to Legoland!
