The Liver Building
Saturday saw an early start leaving home at 7.15am to catch a coach from the Holiday Inn Lancaster to go to Salford Keys for a cruise down the Manchester ship canal to Liverpool. The cruise lasted 6 hours and the weather was cold and very windy but dry. I braved standing in the bow for most of the cruise just leaving it to have a hot chocolate. I took 167 photos which, as in raw format, need processing and editing. Some days I struggle for a blip shot but not Saturday so I may link some later when processed but I thought the shot of the Liverpool front as we crossed the Mersey at the end of the cruise was apt.
We met some lovely people and our camera clubs secretary was on board with his wife.
It was a long day and we hadn't eaten so treated ourselves to a carvery meal at the local Toby Inn. A great way to finish a very tiring day.
