Hybiscus

This flower is just outside our apartment in Spain. It has been an emotional journey to get here as Mum lost her battle with cancer last night. I was very lucky that I had a chance to say goodbye to her as I think she knew. My dad, brothers and I decided that we should still come away on our holiday. My two brothers are there for Dad now and I will go as soon as I get back, but it gives me the chance to make the most of my family 'holiday bubble'. I love that this flower is just outside our front door as it was one of Mum's favourite, she was a strong, outgoing, colourful woman..just like this bloom.
