Grad Expo
Today I helped open my booth for yearbook at Grad Expo. Grad Expo is where graduating seniors can purchase all their good stuff, like caps and gowns, diploma holders, senior portraits, and of course THE YEARBOOK. This is the last time I would see it as an outside observer before I have to go through the whole process myself next year :S
Then my friends and I went to a nice place called Kimera. We tipped the valet, which was free, but all the valet had to do was drive three feet @_@ And then when we came back the car was right in front of us, but he had to "get" it so he drove around in a little circle and then opened the door for my friend and my other friend but not for me and my friend, haha. Weird-o experience.
Kimera was pretty good but our food came kind of lukewarm and service was pretty slow. But I guess that's what you have to expect from a nice lounge bar restaurant thinger. It was happy hour too. Hm. Anyway.
Then I went to a volleyball game with my roommate and it was UCI vs. BYU. The Bren was full of Cougar fans, and there were only a handful of UCI people there so whenever we scored a point I felt kind of intimidated to cheer because I was surrounded by all these BYU people. Also, it was the first time I ever felt like a minority hahaha. Anyway WE WON and we never lost our lead. We actually swept BYU 3-0 so that was pretty cool. It was my roommate's first UCI athletics game so that's nice that it was a win.
And it's RAINING BOOOOOOOOOOOO and yay.
