Beach Treasure

This is an old speedometer that we found half buried in the sand on a beach in Ajax Ontario about 4 years ago.

We could also see a tire barley peeking out of the sand a few feet into the water that looked as if it was from the same era (an original white wall tire).

It was too cold to venture in the water to take a closer look.

I wonder what kind of car it used to be in?

How did it end up on the beach, and how long ago?

Hmmm.

Coolest thing we've ever found on a beach for sure! :]
