... of cycling through the most atrocious weather conditions during 'LondonRide86' ...

The remnants of Hurricane Bertha meant that the organisers of LondonRide100 decided to shorten the route by cutting out the 'iconic' Box Hill and its 'sister' Leith ... together with over 20,000 cyclists, I had to contend with thunder, torrential rain, rivers running along and across the roads, puddles axle deep, debris covering the roads ...

It was all for a good cause as I was raising money for Book Aid International ...
