Caught in the Wind

We have talked about climbing Traprain Law for a long time and decided that today was going to be the day. High winds meant that it was not the best day to have chosen. I got part way up and decided to abandon the journey as we were struggling against the wind. Before heading back down I took a few shots trying to capture the wind. I used a low ISO and slow shutter speed to capture the movement. I liked the effect created in this photo. After leaving Traprain, we found a hill fort nearby that gave a good view of Traprain Law and the coastline. In the evening we went to see The Sorries' festival performance at the Jazz Bar.
