Pretty bubbles in the air

We had a walk alongside the river in Stratford this afternoon. We parked in “Old Town” walked over one bridge, along the river on one side, through the Theatre Gardens, and back again.

The Bancroft (in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre) was pretty full with visitors enjoying the sunny afternoon.

I don’t know who these children are, but they were certainly having fun with the bubbles.

This morning we walked around Gruffalo (a.k.a. Oversley) Wood, and it got quite chilly. We didn’t manage to get our Skype session in today with our family in Taiwan, as they were out at a birthday party, so I felt pretty downhearted as it’s now over 2 weeks since we last spoke to them., and if we miss a Sunday it’s another full week until we can try again.

Somehow in between the walks we forgot to have any lunch, so we sat at a table outside Carluccio’s in Stratford and had a coffee / tea and some scrummy white chocolate cookies.

Time to cook the dinner now - better not forget again!

Thank you for your voting on the yellow house yesterday - the final score is as follows: For Yellow 9 10 votes (amended after a late entry which has split a married couple asunder!), Against Yellow 4 votes, Undecided 3 votes. They can keep it yellow then.
