I went with my sister to see the Old town in Fredrikstad. The town was a fortress in the old days, and is a popular tourist attraction today. It's about an hour drive from my sisters home. The weather was cooperating with us, as there was a heavy rainfall on the way, but the whole time we stayed there the sun shone and it was around 20 degrees.

In the evening we drove into Oslo, where we met Kjell-Einar (my sister's husband) and a friend of his. They had been to a jazz concert, as there was a jazz festival in Oslo. Then we went to a Vietnamese restaurant, where we had a good tasting dinner. If I'm not mistaken, the restaurant is in the same building as an Indian restaurant I and my husband went to about 20 years ago (oh how time flies ...) with Anna and Kjell-Einar. That too was a very tasty meal.
