Siamese Plumbs

Is it politically correct to refer to “Siamese Twins” these days, or should we say here “conjoined plumbs”. I suppose the latter.

When Mrs W waved these at me (with great glee) I thought that two plumbs had just got stuck together and blipped the runner beans instead, but today I noticed that they were in fact one entity with one stalk, so that deserves recognition (and a blip).

I’m still not sure what was so funny about them?
