Play dough

Made up a batch of salt dough for sister-in-law's (not quite 3 year old) son. He spent ages "cooking" " hot" "cakes".

Add 1 1/2 cups of boiling water to a bowl containing
2 cups plain flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tbsp cream of tartar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Mix ingredients together (careful it's hot) with a spatula to form dough
Knead when dough has cooled
Play

PS You can add food colouring to the hot water before you add it to the dry ingredients.
