looks can be deceptive

I was very organised this morning. We were going to my friend Katharine's for tea and cake and her husband Jon always complains I don't make cake any more. So I thought I would make one.
Unfortunately it looked like a car crash by the time we got there. Phil took a corner too fast and the top slid off the bottom and the filling slurged out everywhere. Never mind it still tasted ok.
The rest of the day mostly consisted of walks for Bella. The 1st was with Oscar which was lovely as always.
We are now relaxing with a glass of wine after a yummy steak supper.
