Tentsmuir Forest and beach
Breezy day with showers.
A rather disappointing start to my day. The Skype link with the congregation in Jinja, Uganda, was so intermittent that I was unable to preach this week. Never mind the Pastor said, you can preach next Sunday. I hope the Network is better next Sunday!
On to my own church where I led the service and the Pastor preached on 'Compassion in a troubled world'.
After lunch, the weather looked a bit unsettled but we still went on a trip to Tentsmuir Forest which is near St. Andrews but can be seen across the water from Broughty Ferry. It did rain, briefly, but then cleared up. There was lots to explore in the forest and among the dunes - wild flowers, bushes, logs and people. If you would like to walk with me in this remarkable forest - head over to my Flikr set. I had a bit of difficulty choosing my one blip - you may have chosen a different one.
For my friends living in Scotland - only one month to go before we have to Vote! Have you made up your minds - or are you as bewildered as you ever were with the complexities of the decision?
Have a good week.
