Heavy Horse Working Day

I took lots of shots today but this was the one that I liked best. These two were resting after being turned around. Because of Health & Safety you are no longer allowed to get too close to the horses and get the really nice photos. Also too many people!

They are such lovely gentle creatures and R can remember them being used on his father's farm in Devon many years ago. Funnily enough the event was held just below the farmhouse that his father built near North Curry, in Somerset in the 60s! Memory lane.

My apologies for not commenting on many of the blips but have been busy, headachy and tired!! No excuse I know-will do better in future.
