Juvenile greenfinch

I went for a lovely walk in the Ceiriog Valley this afternoon and saw this young greenfinch on a garden wall. Finches are seed eaters but it looks as if this one was trying a grub or caterpillar.

There were lots of lovely ripe blackberries on the hedgerows, I hadn't taken a bag to collect them but ate plenty as I walked around.
